Description: 2010 marks the 33rd annual Baltimore Farmers’ Market and Bazaar, Maryland’s largest producer’s only outdoor market that features home grown seasonal fruits and vegetables and a whole lot more! Each Sunday morning, up to eight thousand Baltimore residents and visitors meet under the Jones Falls Expressway to select items such as fresh cut flowers, fresh cut and potted herbs, potted plants, local honey and honey products, fresh baked breads and pastries, smoked meats, cheese, and fresh seafood and shell fish.
Food concessionaires sell gourmet foods and fresh brewed coffee. There is a wide selection of breakfast and lunch foods to choose from, a variety ethnic dishes, pit beef, sausage and hot dogs,fresh squeezed juices, fruit and pasta salads, grilled mushrooms, breakfast burritos and fresh made omelets.
Attendance: Averages 5,000 to 8,000 each Sunday during peak season (July-Thanksgiving), & 3,000 to 4,000 per Sunday non-peak, almost 200,000 seasonally (rain or shine)
